Pink & Purple

Hello everyone, its been ages since I have taken part in any challenges so I have decided to enter the Without Words challenge this month and the theme is colour using pink and/or purple with green.

I have used a Wee stamp called Dreamy Dragon and coloured him with pencils.  Everything else is from stash.

I thought I would share this picture with you and hopefully it will give you a chuckle!  Every year where I live there is a 'drag race' which is in aid of our local Hospice and it is for men only to enter and dress up as women!  It is such a lot of fun and I think its wonderful that the men are willing to dress up for charity!  This year our neighbour and a couple of his friends have decided to enter and they have already raised a lot of money between them so well done to them!  This is the photo that I took this morning before they went off to the race.  My neighbour is the one in the pink wig:

Go ladies!

In The Garden

Hello lovely bloggers!  Hope everything is going ok with you all!

Its the 1st day of May and also time for the Crafty Little Fairies Challenge!  This month the challenge is In The Garden.  Must say I am not a gardener, I really wish I was, my garden has pebbles and a stone circle, but I have got planters and I am waiting for some lovely dwarf buddleias to arrive which will hopefully attract butterflies into our garden, just don't see enough of butterflies so fingers crossed!

Really sorry for the poor quality of the picture, no matter what I did, I just could not get a good image so this is the best of a bad bunch!

The image is from Lili of the Valley and coloured with Promarkers.  Everything else is from stash.

Do pop over and join us, would love to see your creations!

Snowballs

It has certainly been cold enough here for snowballs this last week!  Its been very cold and not helped by that awful smog which made it even more cold and very dull, just like winter - brrr!  Where has Spring gone!  I hope its warmer where you are!

And feeling quite chilly today I decided to enter this card into the Winter Wonderland Challenge:

The image is a stamp by Wee called Angelica and has been coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.  The card and glitter paper are all from stash.

Add A Tag

Hello lovely crafters, its that time of the week again for Crafty Little Fairies Challenge!   This week the theme is Add A Tag and this week we are being sponsored by Crafty Ribbons and the winner will receive a £10 voucher so well worth entering!

My design team card is as follows:

The stamp is from the Bebunni range by Crafters Companion and called Special Friend.  I have coloured the image in with pencils, I did not want a lot of colour on the bunny, just a bit of shading as he is quite a large stamp and I decided that too much colour would drown the image.  Everything else is from stash.  I am not sure, but I think the pink paper is from an old Forever Friends pad but don't take my word on that!

Please pop over to the Crafty Little Fairies Challenge blog and join in the fun, you never know, you could be the lucky winner!

Shop 'Til You Drop

Hello everyone in blog land, hope you are all well!  We have had some lovely weather here for the past couple of days, lovely sunshine and no rain, well at least in my little part of the world!

This week's Crafty Little Fairies Challenge is shopping and this little lady certainly seems to be enjoying her shopping trip!  I don't know about you, but I cannot abide shopping, food shopping is a necessity, clothes shopping is a chore but if its crafty shopping, I can spend hours and if I could, a small fortune!

The image is from Lili of the Valley and is coloured with Promarkers.  Everything else is just bits and pieces I had hanging round.  The bow is a die from Die-namics.

Hope to see you over at the Crafy Little Fairies Challenge!

Teddies

Its that time of the week again for Crafty Little Fairies Challenge!  This week's theme is Teddies and I just love teds!  I still have one which was brought for me when I was born so he is very, very, very old!  He is well loved and has fur missing but I would never get rid of him!

The image is from a set by Penny Black called Teddy & Company and coloured with Promarkers.  The card is from stash.

I do hope you will come along and play at Crafty Little Fairies!
