Winter Wonderland

And these past few days it has certainly felt cold enough to be winter!  What is happening with our crazy weather?!

Never mind, it gives us lots of time to play and the Winter Wonderland Challenge is Holly:

The image is from the Papermania Enchanted set and was a nightmare to colour!  The image is quite small so I used a 5 x 5 card whereas I would normally use 6 x 6.  You can't see it in the photo but I have glittered her holly wings and dress.

Though its not a very nice day for all the celebrations that are taking part.  In my corner of the world it is wet, dull, cold and miserable and it looks the same down London.  Hope the Queen has got a pair of flippers!  If you are having celebrations today, I hope the weather doesn't spoil your fun and have a lovely time!

Chocolate & Wine

Den came home on Tuesday night - could I make a 40th birthday card for Friday, the recipient likes chocolate and wine!  I nearly had a heart attack!  No stamps with chocolate or wine, no toppers, I had a melt down!  So I turned to dear Squirrel who calmed me down and said to get an image off the internet!  Of course, why didn't I think of that!  Thanks Squirrel, you are a star!
