Hello & Welcome!

To my lovely new followers!  I can't begin to say how much it means to me that you chose my blog to follow and am looking forward to visiting your blogs too and seeing all your fab creations!

I have today received some lovely new Wee stamps, and I had to get stuck in right away making a card!

The stamp is called Rosetta and is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.  I have glittered her wings, hair and flowers though the picture does not show this.  Everything else is from stash.

I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes.

I'M A FAIRY!!!!

Really, I am!  I've got my training wings and everything!  I have been so lucky to be chosen as a DT member for the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge Blog and I can't begin to tell you how excited and honoured I am, so many applied to be a DT member and to be chosen is so exciting and I hope I do them justice.

So the challenge for this week is a photo inspiration:

And this is my first DT card using the picture as inspiration:

The Lili image is coloured with Promarkers.

Papers are Boofle Designstax and Wild Rose Studio Floral.

Everything else is from stash.

So lovely blogger friends, nip on over to Lili's Little Fairies and join in the fun!

Blossoms & Bows

What a lovely day everyone!  The sun is shining and it is WARM!!!  We even had our breakkie outside this morning, brilliant!  I hope it stays for a few months!

I think the sun has inspired my card today for the Penny Black and More challenge - Blossoms and Bows.  I have used mainly orange, not a colour I particularly like and didn't realise it was turning out to be predominantly orange until I had nearly finished it but I am quite pleased with the way it has turned out.

The Penny Black image is coloured with Promarkers, the card, ribbon and flower are all from stash.  The card blank is from Creative Crafting World.

In Stitches

Good afternoon lovely bloggers, hope you all had a lovely Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate!  We had some gorgeous weather over the Easter break, been a bit dull the last couple of days but today is nice and sunny though still cold but at least we are going in the right way!

When I saw Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - All Stitched Up I nearly had a heart attack.  I have all on sewing on a button on a garment and the only other stitching I do is cross stitch!  Even though the challenge says you can use faux stitching I could not in a million years do faux stitching in a straight line!  Luckily I have got some faux stitching stamps which were from Lily of the Valley and this is my first attempt at stitching and can honestly say I am not impressed with the result!  Its one of those cards that I think 'mmmm not sure about this'!  Hey ho, its done now and I will have to practice more!

The image, coloured with Promarkers,  is a stamp from Lili of the Valley as is the stitching.  Everything else is from stash.  I have glittered the fairy's wings, her wand and the little dots on her top.

I am entering this in the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge.
