Good afternoon lovely bloggers, hope you all had a lovely Easter and didn't eat too much chocolate! We had some gorgeous weather over the Easter break, been a bit dull the last couple of days but today is nice and sunny though still cold but at least we are going in the right way!
When I saw Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - All Stitched Up I nearly had a heart attack. I have all on sewing on a button on a garment and the only other stitching I do is cross stitch! Even though the challenge says you can use faux stitching I could not in a million years do faux stitching in a straight line! Luckily I have got some faux stitching stamps which were from Lily of the Valley and this is my first attempt at stitching and can honestly say I am not impressed with the result! Its one of those cards that I think 'mmmm not sure about this'! Hey ho, its done now and I will have to practice more!
The image, coloured with Promarkers, is a stamp from Lili of the Valley as is the stitching. Everything else is from stash. I have glittered the fairy's wings, her wand and the little dots on her top.
I am entering this in the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge.

So pretty. x
Zippy, your stitching is just fine and your card is sweet and lovely! Well done!!
I LOVE the detail of the stitching on this card - it works really well with this design. If people want a perfectly straight and even card, they should buy one at the store. I think what makes hand made cards so charming is that you can tell that they're hand made:)
Looks lovely to me hun, super cute and very pretty! Hugs, Lisa x
