Christmas is Coming

I just cannot believe how quickly this year is going!  Seems only like yesterday I was sat out in the glorious sun and enjoying the warmth, now its Autumn and Winter is just round the corner! Having said that, today is a lovely day, sun is shining and even though it is breezy and quite cool it is lovely.  But the colder days and darker nights are a reminder to me that Christmas is on its way and time to get started on the Christmas cards!

I have decided this year as I have so many to do and I am always struggling to get them finished that I would do clean and simple cards like the ones below:

The images are from Lili of the Valley's new Christmas range and are coloured with a mixture of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens.  The papers are just some scraps I found in my scraps box.  The red card and ribbon are from stash.

These cards are so sweet! Sometimes I find it can take longer to make a CAS card than an embellished one, but as soon as the design idea is in place, then a CAS card is great for mass production. It's incredible what a little change in color can do to a card, so that the same design can be used and still the cards will look very different. I think I'll have to make some clean ones myself if I'm going to make all the cards I need for this year.
