Monochrome Christmas

Hello my lovely blog friends!  Sorry not been around much, been very busy with Christmas cards and I was determined not to blog or do any challenge cards until they were signed, sealed and delivered!  All that is done now, I always breathe a sigh of relief when the Christmas cards are posted, I feel like I can relax!

So now all that is done I have done a card for the Without Words Challenge and the theme is Monochrome Christmas.  Now I know I have done all my Christmas cards for this year but nothing like an early start for next is there!

I promise you the card is not on the squint, its my photo taking!

The stamp is from Lili of the Valley and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.  The paper is also from Lili : Krafty Christmas.

The brown card is from stash and I punched the snowflakes out of the same brown card.

Something A Little Different

Good Afternoon one and all.  Hope you are all managing to keep warm!  Freezing here, it was raining when I first dragged myself out of my nice snugly and warm bed this morning but that has cleared up and even though its sunny its bitterly cold!  The furthest I have gone today is to nip to the bird table to make sure my feathered friends have plenty of food and then dashed back in!  I do not intend to go any where at all today!

Here is a card which was an order from a friend of mine for their aunt's 80th birthday.  She loves flowers so this is what I came up with:

The card base is from Cupcake Crafting.  They have lots of lovely different styles of card blanks on their site.  The decoupage is from a sheet I have had forever and no idea where I got it from.

Right, I'm off for a cuppa and then finished putting inserts into my Christmas cards!

Have a lovely afternoon everyone.

And Another One!

I'm back again folks this time with a card for Crafty Catz Challenge which is Snowflakes Stars Sentiment:

The image, which was another freebie from a craft mag, has been coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and paper is from the Papermania Christmas Tidings pack.  The image is a stamp but I cannot remember from where, the gold card is from stash.  The snowflakes and stars for this challenge are in the papers and of course star on the Christmas tree!

Right, I'm off for a cuppa now and a cuddle with my Roly!

Glamour and Glitz

Good afternoon everyone and hope you have managed to avoid the nasty storms that have been hitting us all.  We had heavy rain last night and was quite blustery this morning but it has settled down now and the sun is out and even though its very cold it is a beautiful afternoon.

The Less Is More Challenge this week is Glamour and Glitz:

The image is a freebie from a craft magazine and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.  I have glittered her to within an inch of her life, using Sakura stardust pens on her dress, shawl, head-dress and jewellery but it does not show in the photo.

Talk About Last Minute!

Good afternoon bloggers!  Goodness it is soooo cold here and now its gone very dark and raining brrrr.  Not a day for being out and about but we nipped into town this morning, I needed a new pair of boots and ended up getting Den a new pair of shoes too!

Last night, about 9.30 ish, as I was just about to make a cuppa for us both, raid the cupboard for a biscuit or two or three and then flump on the sofa Den got a text message from a friend of ours 'can Lynda do a birthday card for my mum, she likes fairies and I need it for tomorrow morning'!  I nearly had a heart attack!  At that time of night!!!! You got to be joking!  Anyway, a hour later it was finished but I do not want shocks like that again especially as I was half asleep!

Image is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and glittered her wings.  The papers are from Forever Friends Pink Parfait.

The sentiment is computer generated and the green and pink card and pink rose are from stock.

Whizz Bang!

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all managing to keep warm and snug.  Very cold and frosty here, though I must say I do like a frost, looks so pretty!  Yep I know, I'm weird but it makes my life interesting!

The Without Words Challenge Blog this month is Whizz Bang, in other words, bright colours!  This is my take on it:

The image is from a set by Papermania called Christmas Tree and is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens.  I have also used Sakura Stardust pens for highlights and the tinsel is silver glitter.
