Not A Happy Zippy

Hello all my lovely blog friends!  Hope you are having a lovely weekend.  My weekend has not started off very well.  I ordered a skip for Den as he is clearing out mum's house.  I ordered this on Wednesday and told them wanted it Saturday morning, it will be on the street so would need a permit from the Council which usually takes a couple of days.  It was the manager of the firm I spoke to and he said it would be with us between 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.  9.30 arrives and no skip.  So I rang the firm to be told it would not be coming!!!  WHAT!!!!! Apparently the manager had not passed on the details to the office staff so no permit had been sorted and without the permit we could not have the skip!  Poor girl, she couldn't apologise enough, but it wasn't her fault, just the stupid manager!  As I said to Den, if it had been the office staff who had not got the permit they would be in trouble but who is going to tell the manager off - no one!  Anyway, another skip will be ordered in the week and rant is now over!

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge for this month is Summertime and we certainly seem to be having that at the moment!  But the forecast for where I am is not good for next week, dull, cold and rain.  Typical, Den is on holiday next week so it was bound to rain!  Never mind, I will keep him busy in the house, I've got plenty for him to do!

The Sun Has Got His Hat On

Hip hip hooray!  We have had some glorious weather here, just like Summer in fact!  Been so nice to sit outside for a change!  Hope the weather is being kind to you where ever you are!

This card isn't for any challenge.  Its for a dear friend of mine's husband whose birthday it is today.  In fact my friend and her husband share the same birthday and I sent her one of my previous makes.

Christmas In July

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are having a fab weekend.  It is lovely here, sunny and warm.  There is a strong wind but that's ok, it will get the washing dry and cannot really grumble about a breeze when its actually sunny AND warm!

My Little Pony

Hello again, I'm back!  Now I really must apologise for the rubbish photo, the card really isn't crooked its just my terrible photography and the fact that I really do need to go to Specsavers which reminds me, I had a voucher for a free eye test drop though my door yesterday so I will be using it very soon!

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and everything else is from stash.  I also used crystal glitter on the rim of the hat.

I am entering this card in the Winter Wonderland Challenge, the theme is Pink, Purple, Aqua and Green, and to use three or all of the colours.  I decided on pink, purple and green.
