Candy Canes

What a weird weather day we have had!  Rained all night, sunny this morning but very windy, then later this afternoon it became really dark and the heavens opened coupled with a thunderstorm, felt like the end of the world at one point!  So myself and Roly stayed snug and warm in our play room and made a card for the Winter Wonderland Challenge which this week is Candy Canes:

The image is a House Mouse design : Christmas Fireplace and has been coloured with Promarkers.  I also stamped and coloured two more of the candy canes for an embellishment.

Happy Father's Day

Yes, I know, I've used pink paper for a male card, but my view is he is putting up pink wallpaper for his lady so he is obviously in touch with his 'femine' side!

Water, Water Everywhere!

Luckily in the past couple of days in my part of the world we have not had a great deal but I know a lot of you have had loads of rain and suffered terrible floods, and if you are one of those, my love and best wishes go to you.

The Stamping With The Dragon Challenge is very appropriate with a theme of water:

The image is coloured with Promarkers and I have used glitter gel pens for the puddle and rain drops.  The navy card is from stash and sentiment is computer generated.

Lavender and Lace

Good evening everyone, hope your Monday has gone well.  I've had a busy day today, cleaning the house after last week.  When Den is off on holiday I never get the chance to do the housework and it always looks like a bomb has dropped by the time he goes back to work plus the fact he gets under my feet and nothing can get done anyway!

Managed to have a play this afternoon and this is my card for the Joanna Sheen Challenge : Lavender and Lace :

Less Is More

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend. 

Den has gone out for the afternoon so decided to have a go at the Less Is More Challenge which is to do a one layer card using a flourish:

I coloured the image with Promarkers and highlighted certain areas with Stickles. 

Winter Wonderland Challenge

The Winter Wonderland Challenge is to take inspiration from a photo which inspired me with the colours and the candle:

The image is coloured with Promarkers and I used a white gel pen to give the impression of wax melting down the candle.

Water Water Everywhere!

Which is certainly true in my part of the country, it hasn't stopped raining for two days!  So Cute Card Thursday Challenge could not have picked a better theme!

The image has been coloured with Promarkers and everything else is bits of stash just hanging around, unfortunately I have no idea what make the papers are, they were just single sheets I found!
