For A Child

Crafty Sentiments Designs are doing a lovely challenge entitled 'For A Child' and this is the card I came up with:

The image is coloured in Promarkers and the pink card is from stash.  The sentiment is computer generated.

A Quickie!

Den got a text message at 9 a.m. this morning from Helen, a friend of ours - can I make two cards for this afternoon, one for a female and one for a male!  I felt like taking to my bed again!  Anyway, I have plenty of female cards so no problem there, but male cards - not one.  Helen said the male liked 'football and DIY', typical bloke stuff then.

I have hardly any stamps for males (good excuse to invest in more!) but I have a digi stamp that is suitable for a male who likes DIY :

This was a freebie digi stamp that I downloaded from a site but unfortunately I cannot remember where from and so I cannot give credit where credit is due.

I have coloured it in Promarkers and the red card and gems are from stash.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Rain, Rain Go Away!

I cannot remember the last time we had this much rain!  In fact, I can, when we had that much rain we had floods.  I can remember having to walk home from work then and had the water nearly up to my knees!  Don't want that again!  Its getting now that even Roly will not go out on the garden and he loves nothing better than playing in the garden!  Never mind, it means staying in where its warm and cosy and playing!

The image is Lili of the Valley and coloured with Promarkers.

Papers are:  Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose Collection and My Mind's Eye Pretty Please Spring Papers - both were freebies with a craft magazine.

Paper lace and flowers are from stash.

This card has been entered in the following challenges:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Hello everyone!  Guess what.....its raining again!  Thankfully not as bad as yesterday, I am still drying out from the soaking I got!

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge is no patterned paper.  This made me gulp a bit as I love my papers but came up with this:

The stamp is Penny Black Teddy & Company and he is coloured with Promarkers.

The butterfly is Anita's and the card and gems are from stash.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

Well, I think I have now got webbed feet.  It has hammered down all day.  I went out to meet my mate at lunch time, did some shopping for mum and met Den in town also about 2.30 p.m. so he could get his glasses adjusted, by the time I got home I was soaking!  I think I have just dried out!  Don't think there is much chance of a drought round here!

I have also managed, thanks to the wonderful Fiona (do visit her wonderful blog), to change the new blog interface to the old one!  Yipeeeeee!  I could not get on with the new blog and I'm not very good with change so being able to change back to the 'old way' was the best thing ever!

The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is Inspired By A Film Title.  I didn't really think long and hard about this, the film Alien sprang to mind straight away!

The image has been coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment is computer generated and is actually in purple but due to bad lighting when taking it, it looks more brown.

Purple card is from stash.

Diamonds and Pearls

Yes I really am posting another card today, a world record for me!

This time is Lili's Little Fairies Challenge : Diamonds and Pearls :

 Image is coloured with Promarkers.

Papers : Forever Friends All Loved Up, Papermania Capsule Lemon Sorbet and Joanna Sheen Lace Papers.

Sentiment, flowers and pearls are all from stash.

Charming!

This is my third attempt at trying to post on this new dashboard and I am not a happy Zippy!  Why do they have to change something that is already perfectly fine!

Anyway, the Less is More Challenge this week is How Charming:

The image, coloured in Promarkers is from an Oriental stamp set from Lakeland back in the day when they used to sell crafty things.

The charm is from Woodware and the pink card is from stash.
